Whether it’s the savory sizzle of a fried chicken sandwich or the satisfying heartiness of a tender pork tenderloin plate, each meal is made to be savored slowly, the way comforting food should be.
The charm of the place is found not only in the food but in the small, human moments — the pleasant attentiveness of servers who may share a local tip or offer a kind word on a busy day. It’s a space where stories seem to thread together over plates passed from hand to hand, where even a little unexpected change in an order is met with understanding and a readiness to make things just right.

Great place for more of a comfort styled meal. Food came out hot and was a good portion. One small issue since we both ordered hot beefs was that they only had enough beef for one order not two. This was not a big deal since this was out first time so the order was changed to a pork tenderloin with tater tots. The pork tenderloin was one of the best that we have had. Will go back for sure to have that again. Service was good, it was lunch time and the place was packed. Prices were great and we left full. Took our daughter today and everything was wonderful. My husband had the picnic special with the tavern. He stated he would order it again.

Our waitress was very pleasant. She gave us information about road closures along our road trip.

The hamburger soup was just okay, nothing to write home about. However, the roast beef between bread with potatoes all smothered in gravy was absolutely perfect! Exactly what I was needing without realizing it. The waitress was not friendly initially and took forever to take just our drink orders. I think she was overly busy and had a bit too much on her workload but she softened up as our meal finished up. I love these hole in the wall diners, they're always the ones that surprise me the most. Let me tell you, the price for lunch, 2 people, was just a little over $25. You can't find those prices in fast food these days! This is a, not so hidden, gem (right off the main drag) that most everyone can find something comforting to eat with a hometown, diner, old school kind of vibe. Don't just drive on by, stop and see for yourself!

Fantastic breakfast place. Good food and a room for bigger groups if needed. I had the meatlovers omelet. It was delicious

A favorite since my childhood. My Mom always loved to eat here, especially the super nachos or the chicken sandwich with cheese balls. I enjoy the hot beef, most of the time.So many good memories here and now I can make them with my kids. They love the pancakes!
